Daddyfox Produced by David Dadon

Daddyfox is a production by David Dadon along with executive producers Jacob Dadon and Lydia Dadon, associative producers Darryl Dadon and Barry Dadon and production designer Jacqueline Dadon. The main character, Maggie, is a young woman with a psychotic behavior problem, yet a very successful manager at “Maggie’s Bar” which is owned by her three brothers: Graham, Nick, and Phil. She inaccurately informs her brothers that a man who rejected her has raped her. Infuriated by this news, her brothers carry out a relentless and excruciating murder. A few months pass and Nick finishes his own short relationship with Maggie who he considers a “bit unusual.” Following a night of partying with Maggie, Nick heads to Maggie’s Bar to round up his belongings with his good buddies, Malc and Tony. They run into his brother Phil who starts an unnecessary violent fight with Nick. In a mode of defense he simply pushes his brother who then bangs his head on the floor. Phil is rushed to the hospital in a coma, where Maggie unexpectedly murders him for no obvious reasoning. Malc, Tony and Nick become suddenly implicated and wrapped up in the sudden death of Phil. What were Maggie’s intentions? Who will be blamed? In a sequence of unexpected events, the audience will be intrigued and amazed by the outcome of Maggie’s behaviors. Daddyfox will be released in May of 2009 at the Cannes International Film Festival.
